Santana Equestrian Private Financial Inc. (the “Company”) (“SEQP”) increased capacity and reduced overhead costs by expanding its fleet with a larger trash truck. This strategic move is focused on improving waste collection and transportation efficiency within equestrian communities by lowering labor requirements, reducing fuel consumption, saving time, and ultimately making operations more cost-effective.
Paulo Santana, Chief Executive Officer, stated:
“The success of business expansion in today’s market is the coefficient between labor and transportation. We are transporting a very heavy material with a low price value compared to a truck loaded with iPads. The fact that the load has a low price value does not diminish the importance of the product. It is a commodity that must be transported from metropolitan areas for agricultural processing within the permitted zone.
After a year and a half of testing and researching the appropriate vehicle size — small enough to navigate metropolitan areas and large enough to justify fuel costs for one-hour transport to disposal — we are very satisfied with this model of trash truck.
It is important to observe highly successful companies such as WM (Waste Management) (NYSE: WM) and Amazon (NASDAQ: AMZN), which have optimized delivery systems over decades.”
