Canal Point, Florida – November 14, 2025 – Santana Equestrian Private Financial (“SEQPF”) today announced a key milestone in its Florida açaí cultivation initiative: the establishment of 300 fully Florida-grown açaí palm trees within its Canal Point pilot program. The milestone marks a significant step toward SEQPF’s long-term objective of developing a domestic, farm-to-table açaí supply chain for the U.S. market.
Background
Euterpe oleracea, commonly known as açaí, is a palm species native to the Amazon rainforest. Its dark purple berries have gained significant popularity in the United States as a nutrient-dense superfruit, appearing in smoothie bowls, beverages, supplements, and wellness products. The U.S. has become one of the largest global consumers of açaí products.
However, fresh açaí fruit is rarely available outside its native region. The berries begin to oxidize and lose nutritional integrity within approximately 24 hours of harvest, requiring immediate processing. As a result, most açaí consumed in the United States is frozen, powdered, or otherwise processed prior to distribution.
The Canal Point Pilot
SEQPF’s Canal Point initiative is designed to evaluate the viability of Florida-based açaí cultivation within a regenerative land management framework. By integrating localized growing conditions with soil performance systems and disciplined operational oversight, the Company aims to assess long-term yield stability, crop resilience, and supply-chain efficiency.
The pilot program supports SEQPF’s broader strategy of aligning agricultural production with regional resilience, soil regeneration, and reduced reliance on international processing and transportation channels.
Strategic Significance
The establishment of 300 palms represents a foundational stage in the Company’s phased development approach. Rather than pursuing rapid expansion, SEQPF is prioritizing measured growth, data collection, and operational validation before scaling production.
If successful, the initiative could support the development of a domestic açaí supply model capable of improving freshness, reducing processing dependency, and strengthening supply-chain transparency for U.S. consumers.
